Born in London in 1951, daughter of the playwright John Whiting, I grew up on Ashdown Forest in East Sussex. During 1969 - 71, I studied at Hastings School of Art, and have painted and drawn ever sinceā¦. although it is really only in the last few years that I have been able to devote enough time to making pictures. I have since had my work shown in galleries and exhibitions around the South of England.
I now live in Hampshire, where the countryside is a constant source of inspiration; I particularly love to try to capture the varying shapes of different trees as they evolve through the seasons.
